Wanna be a Woodie?

The WOODIES – Marilyn Toulouse and Bruce Bembridge, Kathryn and Ryan Cameron (Left to right)

Greetings!

Meet Bruce Bembridge and Marilyn Toulouse. Bruce is a Wooden Skee collector, Naturalist, retired CANSKI instructor and Co-founder of the Mountain Heritage Program at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Marilyn co-founded the Field, B.C. Kicking Horse Ski Club. Best of all, Bruce and Marilyn are the heart of THE WOODIES!

They invite you to kick-start the Assiniboine Lodge Winter 2020 season with them Friday, February 7 – Sunday, February, 9. Bring your light touring gear. OR, maybe you have a pair of “Hickory STICKS” you can take down off the wall and bring to life again. Pack your vintage wool ‘n attire and get ready for Langlaufen on the Great Divide.

Being a ‘Woodie’ means your weekend includes pine taring, tune-ups and waxing tips, trail side chats, book readings, bedtime stories and tall tales.

Being an Assiniboine Lodge guest means your weekend includes daily ACMG guided ski tours, hearty and delicious lodge meals, trail lunches and tea goodies, all required safety gear and two nights accommodation.

Put this all together and you’ll have a weekend packed with all the FUN you
can fit into three days in our little slice of mountain paradise!

Spaces for THE WOODIES weekend are selling quickly. Please contact Sandy or Jane in our reservations office at 403.678.2883 or via email at info@assiniboinelodge.com to book YOUR space now.

As Bruce and Marilyn say…

Skee ya later!
