Ski lesson/tour Saturday Jan.10th

Hello everyone, just a quick reminder that I will be hosting a lesson/tour tomorrow morning (Saturday) at the Natural Bridge at 10:00am-noon. We will go through different techniques so we are all tuned up for our “Connector” ski on Feb.7th.

If anyone is interested in joining us for the Connector ski day (Natural Bridge to Emerald Lake), please email me (jstichelbout@gmail.com) with the amount of people and what distance you would like to do (one way or both ways). Keen skiers could ski from Field and meet us at the Natural Bridge parking area for 10:30am. We would like people to sign up so we have enough shuttle vehicles for the folks skiing one-way only… It’s going to be super fun relax day out and I will also teach a little along the way! Bring a packed lunch and I  will have a treat for everyone once at Emerald Lake… The more the better, I hope you can join us!

Have a great day and happy trails, Jessica :)

Ski outing/lesson for members on Saturday Jan.10th

Hello fellow skiers, I hope you are enjoying this fresh snow!! This is a reminder to everyone that I will be hosting a ski outing on Saturday Jan.10th at 10:00am at the Natural Bridge. We will go for a ski and work on technique in preparation for the guided ski event on the Connector in Feb… Everyone welcome, I hope to see you there, Jessica :)

PS. Had a blast yesterday on the Kicking Horse Fire road and Connector, yay!

Connector

Yesterday–Jan. 3–Joe was able to make a first track on the Connector to the Natural Bridge and also tracked the Kicking Horse. Please be” very careful” on the Connector as it is with minimal snow base and we do not have warning signs up yet. he also refreshed the trails at Emerald and put down a new track on the lake shore(just off the lake) down below the Horse Trail–to avoid THE SLUSH  that is pooling on the ICE!  Avoid the trails on the ice.  And Happy New Year!
