We’re CRUST SKIING !! It’s perfect—totally off track and straight across the middle of the lake……totally supportive crust till about noon! IT IS THE BEST!
Happy Easter Weekend everyone!!
Emerald Sports & Gifts plans to close mid week—starting the 10th of April and put away the ski gear. We will have snowshoes available on weekends for trecking around the lake or where-ever!

We’re in full spring mode. The tracks on the lake are pretty soft but in the trees and on the Alluvial fan is quite good still. Anything with full sun is too soft.
Don’t forget the dinner this Sunday to raise funds for Gord/Vivian Allen—Field long time residents and avid Club Member who need our support with medical issues. It will be a great function/auction.
Homemade Italian meatballs —by Denise Furfaro (club founder) with the works and also TIRAMISU from Emerald Lake Lodge.

A grand total of 84 dinners were served over the evening—not including the kiddies table. Great work from Carmen & Alex of the Truffle Pigzs Bistro. Our current members list is at 34—check them out on the web page on this site.
Thank you to all who helped bring it all together–and tear it down afterwards too. Success—Success !!! Bravo!

ALL Emerald trails groomed and tracked today–Connector also. I skied home to Field and it was absolutely wonderful. VR45 (extra blue equivalent) worked fantastic. Lovely to get the fresh soft stuff still. Enjoy the trails.
Our groomer’s last work day is the last day of March………get out there. There’s a chance we may be able to scoop one of the boys from Lake Louise for a tune up but we are not sure of that…..??? And Easter is early this year—that usually marks the end of the season for skiing X-C. We will keep you tuned in.

We’re getting it and it’s sooooooo nice! Our groomer Hans could not keep up today……..he managed to lay down one track for now and it is still coming at us. Bring it on—WE WANT SNOW !!
MASTERS ARE COMING TO SKI YOHO on Thursday! Get out there. So nice to see soft fresh stuff again!
