Feb 18-Friday

FYI– We got 10 cms. of fresh powder !!!! Whoo hooo–in the nick of time !! Skiers are pouring in with Challenge $$ and memberships and donations. You can still leave donation or payments in our donation boxes at Emerald and Natural Bridge. Joe is gonna refresh the trails today. Have a great ski everyone—still use major caution on the steep hills of the CONNECTOR and coming down off the Horse Trail onto EMERALD LAKE !!!! Skee ya later eh?…..

Feb. 15–of the Yoho Challenge

Just to clarify–“The Re-Connector” is the super steep section of “The Connector Trail”–and it’s just before you arrive down on the Tally – Ho and ski to the Natural Bridge Parking lot !!! Do NOT ski down the steep section—WALK IT down !! The remainder of the Connector Trail also has steep hills and could very likely be ICY also. Be safe !!

Monday Feb. ❣️❣️ 14

OK–The Re- Connector is SUPER ADVANCED right now !!! You can herringbone UP IT– but DO NO SKI DOWN!!!! WALK IT PLEASE!!!! Some icy sections–very hard, uneven, twigs frozen in, dips and bumps, postholes !!!! Sound good eh? NOT !!! Please ski Emerald trails, Kicking Horse Fire Road and the Tally Ho. Avoid it unless we get a foot of snow! Thanks.

Our trails are READY now!!

Our sled is repaired and Joe just track set ALL the trails at Emerald Lake and the Connector!! He did not refresh the Kicking Horse Fire Road as it is in good shape. Debris did come down with this wind we just got–but mostly pine needles. We are ready for the Yoho Challenge ! Only Takkakaw Falls road in NOT done yet. Enjoy the skiing.
