Annual Dinner Menu 2012

March 10th, 2012 @ the Field Community Center. Doors open at 5 pm, dinner at 6 pm and a cash bar.

Dinner Menu

From chef Alex MacNeill and Carmen of the Truffle Pigs Bistro

Salads

Artisan green salad – carrots, red onion, tomatoes, vinaigrette
Sweet cabbage salad – red cabbage, feta, sunflower seed, sesame vinaigrette

Main

Beef roast, horseradish, sweet potato puree, broccolini
Turkey, oven roasted stuffing, roasted baby potatoes, carrots, cranberry sauce

Vegetarian

Mediterranean pasta – Penne, feta, olives, fresh basil, tomatoes, capers

Dessert

Various scrumptious bars and pastries

Kids Menu

Chicken fingers, veggies and cupcakes

Feb 26th, Sunday Snow, wind, tracks, cougar

Field valley was pretty darn windy this AM, It stopped blowing at the Natural Bridge and the snow was piling up on route to Emerald Lake—but Hansi was there already by 10 A M

It snowed a foot at Emerald and was windy all night. All tracks wiped out. Hans tracked the Takk Falls road and the Tally-Ho to the Natural Bridge—then came out to Emerald to PACK ONLY–due to the high winds still blowing. He will try to set a track tomorrow if the wind stops. Go figure hey—winds at Emerald —not very often!
