TRAIL UPDATE

The Kicking Horse Fire Road was last double track set a few days ago. The Connector did not get done because the snow is soooooo hard–the groomers said it would likely damage it more than do good. We’ve had some wind since which has brought down the tree bombs and pine needles. A fresh coat of snow would be helpful there but at least we have tracks. Either toooooo much snow or toooooo little hey? We still live in paradise!

Trails

Takkakaw Falls Road DID get groomed and track set late yesterday afternoon! Just found out. You can ski for 7 km. up to the switchbacks on beautiful tracks. Thanks Andrew.

UPDATE

Yesterday, Hans and John Quinn were working the Emerald Trails. It was snowing pretty hard so they did their best — since we’ll get a bunch more snow to come. I noticed the Connector was perfectly track set —so likely with both of them—all trails got done. You can call the shop at 250-343-6000 after noon for a better report. We are off to Ohara ACC for 3 days–to snorkel. Cheers
